Guide Clouceivers

My Guide Clouceivers are tied on a Mustad 34007 or an "Eagle Claw 054SS Made in the USA" 2 or 2/0 stainless steel hook. Dumbbell eyes are chrome plated lead and heads have prismatic eyes and are coated with a 2-ton epoxy for a clear hard durable finish. I also use Solarez UV Cure Flex for body and tail wing and I tie no bucktail for the belly to decrease fouling. You can also find this fly in Deke Meyer’s book Saltwater Flies: Over 700 of the Best. The White Clouceiver is the first fly I ever tied commercial for Kay Moulton of Surfland Bait and Tackle over 35 years ago!!
